As we saw last week, that a boy found himself locked and moved from a port to another, in a shipping container. We searched the internet and found another interesting story about a cat that got locked in a shipping container and made it through the three week journey without food or water.
In 2021, a Ukrainian logistics company, called Star Shine Shipping LTC took on Facebook to report an unusual story of a feline that got locked in a shipping container they were operating and had traveled over 1200 miles from Ukraine to Israel, over a period of three weeks. The animal was found inside the shipping container at destination, coming out from behind the boxes, a bit scared at first, but was otherwise in good condition, despite having endured a long journey without any food or water. The cat might have chewed some candy from some of the boxes and lick the walls for condensation that must have formed on the inside of the container instead of water. All are just suppositions and we can only speculate how did the cat survived the whole long journey. We all know the myth that the cats have 9 lives, we’re not sure how many lives this trip costs, but for sure the cat came out alive at the end of it.
While some questions about the cat’s survival during the three-week journey remain unanswered, the important thing is that the animal has made a full recovery, in the care of the logistics company’s director
